NEW Warner Ford F550 Show Truck
|
|
Ford Motor Company decided that they wanted to "give back to the families of the heroes and honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their fellow citizens." In order to do this, Ford worked with Warner to design the ultimate F550 fire apparatus to display at the Los Angeles Auto Show and other shows throughout the country. Ford is currently displaying the apparatus at the show and making coinciding donations to the Los Angeles County Firefighters' Widows and Orphans Fund for every person that looks at the apparatus.
Warner manufactured the quick attack apparatus on Ford's 2011 F550 chassis. This is the first of Ford's urea diesel trucks designed to lower emissions. The show vehicle was totally customized at Warner with a full upfit including:
