MATECO Truck Equipment, a Texas corporation located in Houston, was established in 1979. We started out installing services, flatbeds and van bodies on imported trucks like Toyota and Nissan. During the mid eighties, we moved on and included light duty to heavy duty domestic trucks. Our main business as a distributor and manufacturer is the sale and service of high quality commercial truck equipment. During the past twenty-eight years, MATECO has positioned itself as a leader in the commercial truck equipment industry.
MATECO offers a complete line of commercial truck equipment and accessories for all classes of trucks. We manufacture and distribute service bodies, flatbeds, gooseneck bodies, cranes, van bodies, winches, liftgates, and, hoist and dump bodies. MATECO has been designing and manufacturing custom bodies for over twenty-eight years to meet the customer’s specific needs. With our aftermarket accessories, we can upfit any truck or van with tool boxes, van shelving, drop in or spray on bedliner, grille guards and nerf bars. We have our own in house paint department with a “state of the art” paint booth and mixing machine. MATECO Truck Equipment is an approved Commercial Vehicle Upfitter for Dodge and can supply Ford or Chevrolet through our business partners.
